Cermele: When You Are Too Lazy to Cast
Tired of snagging limbs, brush, the boat, or your buddy's face every single time you cast? Have arm wrestling competitions a la "Over The Top" completely destroyed your casting stroke?

Romano: Landing Your First 100lb Tarpon, By Hand...
My buddy, Dave Teper of Felt Soul Media documents Tom Bie, editor and publisher of the Drake Magazine trying to land his first 100 pound+ tarpon on a fly. It's a long video, but funny and worth it. Especially the end where he looses the reel and has to hand-land a massive tarpon.

Through July 6, 353,043 sockeye have been counted at Bonneville Dam (and that does not include any sport catch below the dam).

Invasive Mussels May Help Fight Invasive Asian Carp
Here's one from the "Invasive Species Poetic Justice" file. Asian carp are knocking on the door of the Great Lakes, but at least one researcher believes the plankton-eating fish might have trouble establishing itself, due in large part to...wait for it...invasive zebra and quagga mussels!

Fish and Game Q&A: How can catch-and-release fishing be legal in no-take waters?
JQuestion: To allow catch-and-release fishing in no-take waters is an interesting concept because it allows fishing after the limit is achieved. Under this philosophy an angler fishing a catch-and-release-only water (zero limit) would never be able to catch a fish since they would be in momentary possession of an over-limit.
